For Students

Math

Want to practice your multiplication or addition facts? This site is a quick way to practice and review. Try to beat your best score. 

English Language Arts

Listen to or read from over 35,000 books! This site includes some of your favorite series and original stories. Search for your favorite author or series. Read about your favorite animal or athlete. Epic! is the place to read. 

Battle others with magical spells while practicing your math skills. Level up and earn different spells as you correctly answer math questions. You will have fun as you apply the math skills you learned in school.

Read news articles about current events, science, sports and more. Practice reading nonfiction texts with a topic that interests you. Click on vocabulary in the article to discover the definition. 

Interested in watching videos on the skills you learned in class? Or want to explore new math concepts? Then head over to Khan Academy to watch videos and take short quizzes to expand your math knowledge. 

ABCYa is a great site to practice parts of speech and spelling, for example, through games. Create your own word search or type a friendly letter. Practice your understanding of grammar to improve your reading comprehension and writing skills. 

One of the important skills you learn in third grade is multiplication. On this site you can play many different games to practice your facts. Have fun practicing your facts!

Unfortunately not free, Spelling City is a great place to practice your spelling words. Ask your parents to purchase a membership and you can practice your weekly spelling words through games and more. 10 minutes a day will help you ace the test.

Math Man. Scooter Quest. Fraction Splat. These are three of the games on Shepard Software's math site. Organized by concept, you can select games to practice place value, geometry and more. 

Celebrities and authors come together to read picture books in these videos. Listen to expert storytellers read with expression and model fluency.  You will love the voices they use!

For Parents

It is extremely important for students in third grade to become fluent in multiplication and division facts 0-10 by the end of the school year. To help support your students you can encourage them to use some of the websites above or through the following resources.
